Herman began his career working in music. He produced, mixed and toured with many of Swedens biggest bands, such as the Hives, Cardigans, and one of Sweden’s biggest names out of the 70’s and -80’s—Thåström. After 10 years in music, Herman transitioned to editing. In this new artform, he found a new source of inspiration where his musicality helped form his signature style and armed him with the keen ability to add sound design and scores to his edits.

He spent his first years as an editor at DDB in Stockholm, Sweden, where he worked on brands such as VW, McDonalds, Electrolux, H&M, and Vattenfall.

After getting his feet wet in his new role as an editor and sound designer, Herman moved to Los Angeles and started a freelance career. He has worked with agencies like 72andSunny, CP+B, BBH, Imaginary Forces, 180LA and B-Reel on clients such as Infiniti, Google, Call Of Duty, Instagram, Facebook, VRBO, Apple, and Lego.
